Spinosaurus was a huge meat eating dinosaur that had a series of spines on its back, and roamed the earth about 95 98 million years ago. It is called the Spinosaurus spiny lizard because it had a series of large neural spines up to 6 feet long coming out of its back vertebrae. It also walked on two legs and was about 40 50 feet long.
